Xmas Lights
Suggested Title: I have found the perfect ornaments and lights for my Christmas tree!
Suggested Title: Fairy Lights are going to be the highlight of my Christmas decor this year!
I was shopping for Christmas lights on Amazon.com and I found this amazing product- The Fairy Light Set. The site sells a lot of LED light garlands but this product is truly unique because you get lights and ornament for the price of one. I paid $22.95 and I had a garland of 10 LED lights and 10 ornaments, each over 3 inches big, so they are not puny by any standard.
I simply love the festive theme of this product. The ornaments include Christmas trees, snowmen, stars, hearts and stockings. I was also smitten by the red and white color combination but I was not expecting much from lights that worked on 3 AA cells. And then came the shocker! I received my Fairy lights 2 days ago and put them to test.

Everybody says that if you are picking LED lights, don't go for red because it is one of the dull colors. But, in case of Fairy Lights, the red in the ornaments was glowing alongside the sparkling white.
Now, my house has pets as well as kids, so I wanted a product that would be 100% safe. One of the reasons why I limit myself to a few strings of battery operated icicle lights for outdoor decoration is because I did not want the kids fidgeting with lights that are connected to a power outlet. But, with the Fairy Light set, I have nothing to worry about even if the product malfunctions. The best part is that the ornaments are so strong that I doubt my kids or pets will be able to do any damage to them.
For the acid test, I wanted to try the Fairy Light set indoors. Any light glows bright in pitch darkness but use it indoors and the results are usually disappointing. Because Fairy Lights work on batteries, I could try them all over the house; from the mantel to the dining table and from my front door to the

The new millennium casts a different role for candles. Not only are candles used as light sources during power outage, but they also symbolise festivity, calm the senses, mark intimacy, and accent home decors.
Hello my tantalizingly talloned troopers. You're hanging in there with me as my polishing powers persevere through this challenge. I'm glad you're still with me because today I had the chance to use something I really like. GLITTER! (Leftover sentiments from pre-school) I admit, I never grew out of the whole sparkly, colorful, fluffy and pink obsession that little girls have. I'll never disown Barbie, and I refuse to give up my love of sequines and rhinestones (I don't actually wear sequines).
Electric light is considered harsh and impersonal, while candle light is natural, welcoming, and warming.
Answer: Some decorations that are on display in communities are when shops and clubs make huge nativity scenes with over one hundred figures, waterfalls, windmills that rotate, and light! Some families enjoy seeing the big scenes.
With all the cherished old traditions and objects you can still have a very special Christmas celebration with unique designs and crafts which can turn life in this
Rivals among the neighbors to see who has the best light display aren’t just for the locals anymore. Monday night’s Great Christmas Light Fight 2017 on ABC takes the good old-fashioned idea of being the best lighted house in the neighborhood to a whole new level. It’s almost as if colorful bulbs are strung on every surface to light up the house, the sky and even the snow. You can’t help but feeling jolly watching this wonderful show and it’s obvious that some folks go all out during the holidays leaving the rest of the world feeling joyful that they get to see the display (but aren’t living on that
The average American spends $92.93 on Christmas trees and decorations. Those with artificial trees invest in the tree initially, but only have to maintain the lights and ornaments after the holiday concludes. As well as, those with allergies will not have any reaction. Whereas; those with real trees have a mess from the fallen needles and will need to dispose of the tree soon after Christmas. Therefore, people with real trees will have to invest each year they use a real tree instead of an artificial one. In 2002, Oregon and Michigan have the highest number of acreages for planting Christmas trees. Both states contribute to more than sixty thousand acres of land for the trees to grow and be sold. In the United States, 38.4 million trees were sold in 2015. Out of those, 12.5 million were fake trees and 25.9 million were real. This reveals that Americans prefer real trees to artificial ones. The average price of a fake tree is $70 and the average price of a real tree is $50. In 2015, Americans spent $2.17 billion dollars on Christmas trees and decorations.
The not needed egg cartons can turn into bat decoration. Cut them in a way that the bat will have two wings and a body, paint it black and draw googly eyes. Make little ghosts of white paper and make spooky faces. Then hang them on the lights, for example, using
The holiday season is fast approaching and the list for children to buy for is long.
Emma, Marissa and I are in charge of the making the lefse. This has been our job ever since we were little girls, becoming experts through all our years of experience. My grandma makes the most amazing food and always has enough to feed us for a week. After we stuff ourselves full of delicious, lasagna, salads, and hot dishes all made with love and while the adults lean back comfortably in their chairs, us kids go put on our pajamas and troop downstairs to open our gifts. The most memorable gift would be the ring my grandma gave me that used to be my great-grandmothers who died a couple days after my grandma turned fifteen. My great-grandma loved to travel and had a great passion for fashion, so this circle of metal with a little diamond in the middle and a floral pattern surrounding it, had been bought in California and has been in the family since. “Bang, bang, bang!” A huge pounding comes from the front door. Dogs bark, adults grin, and we race to open the creaky door. Santa Claus, eyes twinkling, dressed in red with coal-black boots, and swinging a sack over his right shoulder, steps inside. He plops down heavily; ringing merry bells and passes them off to David, my brother, telling him seriously to keep ringing them so Rudolf won’t fly away without him. With wide eyes, little David shakes the bells with such rigor that if Rudolf was in the North Pole he would be able to hear them. We each take a turn perching on his knee, hesitant at first but then opening up and telling him our age and that, “yes we have been really, really, really good this year.” As Santa’s beard tickles our chin as we lean in close for a picture and his big belly shakes as he laughs at the same time as you start to giggle. Then he opens his sack and pulls out gifts wrapped in colorful paper for each of us. With a few cookies for the road, crumbs in his beard and a
All the children put their First Christmas ornament on the tree, that I brought, as a gift.I am not usually a shopper, but during the Christmas season, I actually enjoy shopping. I rarely go into department stores, but during the Christmas season, I love to shop. The stores are so beautifully decorated and very festive. I can easily get carried away, with spending so much money. I must admit the thought of spending too much money hardly comes to mind.
Christmas decorations should create a feeling of magic. The desire to create a magic home and bringing the spirit of Christmas can seem heavy these days. It becomes heavy and hard to carry, that parents now feel over the need to make
Put garland on the edge of every single doorway. Put a plastic ornament or candy cane on every single door knob in the hallway. If you have little like railings or chair rails in your hallway put some garland on that or some lights for festivity. Then add maybe a little bit of lights around the garlands. Hallways are another one of the few things to decorations that you need to do first.
