The major issues that the Federalists and the Democratic-Republicans disagreed on were all a part of the foreign policies, military policies, domestic policies, how powerful government should be, the way government should be run and the list goes on. The Federalists wanted to be a strong centralized government, while the Democratic- Republicans stood for the states’ rights and believed in limited central government.
The Federalists and the Democratic-Republicans fought many ethical and political battles from the end of the 1700’s to the beginning of the 1800’s. Between the Federalists and the Democratic-Republicans, they see through a different set of eyes and they mind are polar opposites.
