Delta Lea Goodrem, a prominent figure in the music industry, and influential singer, songwriter has been an iconic artist who has risen to prominence ever since the year 2002 where she first pursued acting in theatrical shows and Television. Delta’s first leading acting role got her confidence moving when she had to play the character of a shy girl in a play called “Nina Tucker”. Other TV shows Delta has starred in include “Hey, Dad!” and “A country practice”. Till this present day, Delta has been actively performing as both a singer and an actor in the platform of Reality Television shows today. Delta’s nominations towards certain awards have been tremendous, and although she may have not attained all of them, she has still been given a total of 38 wins and 64 nominations. A few of Goodrem’s most prized awards achieved include the ARIA, Nickelodeon's Kids choice award, Logie, APRA, and MTV awards. Delta’s most successful singles include Born to Try, Lost Without You, Innocent eyes, Not me Not I and Predictable which all sold 1.2 million copies in Australia and 4 million copies worldwide. Extending her sales, Goodrem has managed to exceed 8 million global album sales altogether from her 5 so far albums combined. Not all of her other 4 albums have paralleled the commercial success that Innocent Eyes has met, yet Mistaken Identity and Wings of the Wild have still been received as multi-platinum sellers in Australia. Innocent Eyes has continued to be her most popular and first golden album.
