Success differs from one person to another and, in my opinion, does not have anything to do with material goods but is rather tied to broader concepts, for example, happiness, health and overcoming obstacles.When we are not as healthy as we can be, it is hard to push ahead and maintain a sense of fulfillment from life. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, success means a favorable or desired outcome. It can also mean the attainment of wealth, favor, or eminence. Personally, success is the result of many accomplishments throughout your whole life. Success is measured by one’s personal happiness, health and doing what you love.
One measure of success is how happy a person is. For most people, being happy simply means when a person is content with their surroundings. “It causes a person to relax and think more clearly, as well as, create more ideas for business and creates a sense of freedom. The single greatest advantage in the modern economy is a happy and engaged workforce,” according to Shawn Achor, author and researcher on happiness. "Basically, when you get to my age, you'll really measure your success in life by how many of the people you want to have love you actually do love you," he said while addressing students at Georgia Tech. "If you get to my age in life and nobody thinks well of you, I don't care how big your bank account is, your life is a disaster. That's the ultimate test of how you have lived your life." Success can eventually lead to wealth, that is why many people think being successful is being rich.
