The meaning of success
The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about success is fame or wealth. Social media makes the world revolve on the idea that successful means to be an actor, a music artist, or an athlete. Success is defined as the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. People try to strive for their goals and achieve them, which is to become successful. Which the definition of success can be different for every individual. Success is when an individual has set a goal for life and have achieved it.
Being successful doesn’t have to be a status that make a person overall better than others. Being successful is a goal that is set for the future. Some believe that an individual can't be successful without being famous. With the media of today, showcasing many famous people on newspaper, tv, and videos, people believe fame is being successful. With social media these days it makes the world seem that with a certain amount of “friends” or “followers” people can become famous or successful. Which leaves the impression on the young kids that without social media they can't be successful.

Being wealthy makes people think that they are set in life, and it makes them successful. Which sets an incorrect example for success, people start to believe that to be successful individuals have to become rich, and this mentality can set a domino effect of decisions that can affect their future. Success can be achieved when a goal is accomplished. Ordinarily, people set a goal for themselves to raise their children in a good home with a good education. Some people recognize this as being successful rather than living a lavish life with nice cars and a
Success can be an extremely broad subject. There is an abounding amount of different views on what the “true” definition of success is. Personally, I believe that success is finding happiness. Success is waking up in the morning and not having to worry about whether or not the bills are going to be paid this month. Success is having a job that you enjoy going to every day. Success is having friends and family who love and support you. Success does not mean that one has to be exceedingly rich or have a lakeside mansion. As long as they are happy, they have succeeded in life.
Success is not earning a fat juicy check at the end of each month, or being a part of a large social group filled with fraudulent people that appear as familiar faces. But it is a person discovering him or herself after they had been lost and establishing a sense of purpose that makes them fills them with a warm glowing sense of accomplishment. Success does not have one transparent definition, it has various meanings depending on what success means to the individual trying to achieve it. Success is surviving.
The definition of success can be different for everyone based on how they view the word. To me, success is doing all you can do to try to come out on top. A scenario of this would be during a basketball, your team is down by 12 points, everyone is running the fastest they can, shooting as accurate as they can, and supporting one another as much as they can.
Success means to live a life in alignment with what brings us real joy. In my case, “success-joy” comes in many guises. At times, in being persistent with my current dreams, others, investing time and energy in what makes my life shine, and that is, without a doubt, when my life is at service of humanity and when I cultivate happy and healthy close relationships. I tend to define success as a state of being, a constant process of unfolding rather than a place to arrive. It is the journey of getting to know ourselves, in order to fully occupy every aspect of what we are; a forever changing aspiration, a state of being in which we realize that life’s greatest rewards spring from our capacity to relate to adversity in innovative ways. I have also discovered that real success shows up again when we debunk and deconstruct every single stereotype and assumption we have about ourselves. In this way, we feel capable to challenge what is commonly accepted as wisdom and then we have the opportunity to change and integrate our values with greater ones. There is an enormous joy when we feel free to play with the possible new scenarios that our imagination and creativity compelled us to try. A successful state of being is alert and grounded within us with the certainty, that the choices we embark on are in resonance with what we consider is the truth of what we are in that precise
To many people success means the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. But what it really means is more than just that; is having a beautiful and amazing family of two boys and one girl, and have the best wife. Also, success means reaching my goals or dreams, like starting my new manufactory and insurance business and keep working hard because in order to reach things I must be ready to fall and rise up. But like I said, to obtain where I want to be; I’ll first need to finish college having my Bachelor in Accounting and start from zero.

Successful is a simple word, however, the meaning of this word changes quite often. Each person has a different definition of success and that definition can change depending on the situation. Bob Dylan once wrote, “A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.” This a very broad definition of success and should not be used. The definition of success should be “the pursued goals have been adequately accomplished.”

To most of us, they say they can spot success at first glance. Generally by the car one drives or how one is dressed. Some might see it by how healthy or how happy one feels. Merriam Webster's Dictionary states that success is “the fact of getting wealth, respect, or fame.” If one where to adopt this definition of success, one might go on to living a life of materialism. This mindset is deceitful and will only reward you with short term happiness, like a drug addict searching for a quick fix. For one to be ultimately successful, one must be able to overcome hardships and possess qualities like integrity, pride and patience which no amount of money in the world could buy. These qualities will make anyone strive in most, if not all the difficult obstacles one must face in life.
Do you want to be successful in the future? My definition of success is someone who has fame and fortune. First, a person who is rich and famous is successful in life. Second, Taylor Swift is a great example of a person who has fame and fortune. Last, another person who has fame and has money is Dolly Parton. Wow! I never realized how many people and celebrities were famous and rich. Therefore, someone who has fame and fortune is my definition of success.

How I define success isn’t by people’s expectations of me and what society wants from me. How I define success is by what I want to be and what I do to achieve my goals. Although success is not an easy thing to complete overnight, what pushes me to achieve success is the qualities of perseverance, determination, and my own failures.
