Success is something that every person desires to gain throughout the course of their life. If a person is asked about what defines success or what success means to them, they may reply with a simple answer that includes the word “happiness”. This is because success is an important aspect of life that allows many people to develop a sense of accomplishment, pleasure, and satisfaction as a result of what they have done throughout their life. People may define success as a journey that requires commitment, dedication, and determination in order to reach or accomplish. There are many factors that define success in our society. When I asked Kevin about his views and perspectives regarding what success requires, he stated that success involves being able to reach towards the end of one’s goals and accomplish them. Throughout the interview, Kevin claimed that an important aspect of success is establishing goals that pertain to what a person desires to pursue in the future. While being asked about what a key factor is in gaining success, Kevin stated that it is important to establish goals that pertain to what a person wants to pursue in the future, as well as getting closer to achieving the goals that they have set for themselves. This is an important aspect of reaching success because it allows the person to become familiar with what career or occupation they would like to pursue throughout their life, as well as the steps that they need to take in order to accomplish what they need to. For example, a person acknowledges that they are gaining success when they reach towards the end of the goals that they have established and have determined a career that they would like to pursue in the future.
