It started in the early 90’s with an eclectic mix of musicians complementing to the enthused version of music. During 2002 Olympic Winter Games, the band commenced the Hallmark Olympics Celebration series of concerts. It performed “The Space Between,” which got nominated for Best Rock Vocal Performance at the GRAMMY Awards for the same year.
In their summer tour of 2003, they performed for more than 100,000+fans and raised $2 million for public education and parks in NYC. They also assisted creating The New Orleans Habitat Musicians’ Village by donating $1.5 million. One of band’s hit songs, “Gravedigger,” was entitled with a GRAMMY Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. They have meshed together almost every type of music together to create their extremely unique sounds and attractiveness towards their music. Dave Matthews, lead singer and guitarist from South Africa has put together a band that no one will ever be able to create again. Dave picked four extremely talented and unique sounding men to join his band and together they have created some amazing music. The members of the band include Stefan Lessard on bass, Boyd Tinsley on violin, Leroi Moore on saxophone and one of the best drummers in the world, Carter Beauford. Together these men will one day leave behind a similar reputation as one of the all time greatest "jam" bands of time.
I chose to do my concert critique on Eric Clapton-MTV unplugged full concert-HQ January 16, 1992 at Bray Film Studios in Windsor, England. Eric Clapton is my favorite rock n roll singer which has a mixture of genres. The concert was inside and on stage. The audience was seated up close to the stage which made the atmosphere comfortable; Eric and the band showed much warmth and connected with the crowd it wasn’t like the band was untouchable.

Def Leppard is one of the most influential rock bands of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Over the past forty years, the band has released eleven studio albums and gone on many worldwide tours. Their mix of pop rhythm, guitar riffs, and heavy metal has earned two Def Leppard albums RIAA Diamond Certification (“The Story of Def Leppard’s Pyromania Album”). However, Def Leppard had to overcome injury, death, and grunge rock to become the success story they are today.
When they first came to the United States they supported Vanilla Fudge. They also played in clubs to start their American popularity. After they played in the clubs they got their first headlining tour and toured again that. They were playing their fifth tour by the March of 1970. Led Zeppelin the record was released by the Atlantic Records in 1969. Shortly after the record was released it was number eight and stayed in the top twenty for six weeks. When the Led Zeppelin II was released, it was Atlantic Records’ fastest selling album at 100,000 copies a week. They broke their own record in 1975 when “Physical Graffiti” that sold 500 copies an hour. All of their albums have gone platinum.

After the show had ended, I felt slightly empty. I had waited years and months for that night, and it was over in the blink of an eye.
