In the story Frankenstein it shows that too much curiosity it not good. Knowing too much can affect others. Victor Frankenstein the scientist is trying to play the God role but cannot really accomplish the ideas he has in mind. Victor was always interested into bring back the dead to life. He somewhat broke the law by going to graveyard and taking human body parts and combining them together to create his own human, but instead it was a monster. The story reveals how some things should be left unknown because it may cause danger to others and oneself. It proves that dangerous knowledge can make a turn at anytime. In addition because of the growth of technology scientists think that they can do about anything even if there will be consequences. The acquirement of dangerous knowledge is detrimental because stem cell research, scientist find ways to kill babies, and unethical human experimentation. Scientist use the umbilical cord blood of the developing cell as part of their research because once a baby is born the umbilical cord would become useless. In the Catholic religion Life is perceived through conception (Shannon). It is said that Pope John Paul II gave his views on stem cell research addressing former President George Bush. While scientist say stem cell will prevent diseases prevention will not likely help in a trauma accident, but ways to stop diseases through prevention can be to stop smoking, good diet, and vaccinations (Shannon).
