Dale Earnhardt Jr. was born on October 10, 1974 in Kannapolis, North Carolina. His full name is Ralph Dale Earnhardt Jr. Dale is a third generation driver who is also forever connected to the sport of car racing. Dale also has a brother Kerry who helped him start racing. The only thing he has that is different is his competitive driving style and his keen business sense. He is a professional race car driver also know better as NASCAR driver.

He has been selected by his fans 12 times as the most popular driver in NASCAR. Dale has been in the chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup seven times total in his career. He follow his legendary father Dale Earnhardt Sr., is considered a seven time Cup champion and had won 76 races for a complete total. In 1999 his grandfather and father were selected to be NASCAR’s 50 greatest drivers of all time.
The three Earnhardt’s have created a great impact on the NASCAR’s history. His father forced him work his way up into becoming a driver he was not just handed a car and told, “Have fun”. He had to perform his way up in building himself a team and building his race car. When he graduated from high school he then attended college for a two year automotive degree. He was now followed everywhere with his father’s death, from his father’s wreck Jr. had become a better racer and became smarter about running his car. After the wreck then he was involved in one very similar a week later luckily he was not hurt at all. He really started to become a very successful driver he had definitely fulfilled his father footsteps on the track. His fans were all proud of him and really appreciated how popular of a race car driver he had become.
Earnhardt is still involved in racing; he still drives the number 88 car. He lives on a property called the Dirty MO Acres, which includes a western style town, and five miles of ATV trails. He won the 2014 Daytona 500 race and had 23 victories. As his role of being a team owner and a business man he keeps them completely separate from his racing career. Cody Higginbotham is an extreme race fan from Guntersville, Alabama. Cody has received many great opportunities over the last ten years. He got his first big break working on a message board (forum) for Jamie Mosley in 2003. “Jamie was driving a part time schedule in the #39 for Jay Robinson. He offered me an opportunity to work on a message board for him. I was only 12 years old at the time. I will admit that I was pretty nervous, but I was also excited about the great opportunity I received.” Cody received a second great opportunity to work with Venturini Motorsports in 2004. “Venturini Motorsports marketing/ PR Tom Venturini noticed me when Billy Venturini was still driving. He offered me an amazing opportunity to work on a message board (forum) for them at the end of 2004 until 2007.” Cody also worked on a message board (forum) for Brad Keselowski in 2005 - 2009, David Gilliland in 2006-2007, Burney Lamar in 2009, and JD Motorsports in 2008 - 2012. Cody received more amazing opportunities before and after he was finished working on message boards for race teams.

On June 26th 1974, in Pequannock, New Jersey, Derek Sanderson Jeter was born. His parents were Charles Jeter and Dorothy Connors. His parents had a rare relationship for their time. Charles was african american and Dorothy was white. In the 1960s marriage of separate races was frowned upon but they loved each other and made it work. When Derek was still a small child, Charles moved the family to Kalamazoo, Michigan. This is where practically Dereks whole childhood took place.

When Jack Roush decides to have one less race team on the track, he does so not because he doesn’t like the team that is racing, but because fielding a race team is expensive. Mr. Roush has a lot of money, but he is limited to the number of teams he can put on the track. Race fans make choices too. We choose which drivers we will support, which manufacturers we will back, what races to attend in person, and how many races to watch on television. All of these choices are made because we don’t have the time, money or opportunity to watch every race, travel to every track, or back every driver. Therefore, we have to choose.

Since Ford has been working for Detroit Automobile Company for a long time he has decided to leave that company and start making his own racing cars. When Henry left he has taken with him nine hundred dollars and schematics for a planned racer. The materials that the frame was built of was ash wood, reinforced with steel plates, the wheelbase is ninety six inches round. Henry Ford was in two companies before making a successful company. The first company he had was first named Cadillac Motor Company then changed into the Ford Motor Company when they went bankrupt once, which was established in August 22, 1902. He went into this company with twenty-eight thousand dollars and eleven men. This company only made around five cars a day. The only way that they made cars was that they would group three guys on one car. During this time, the Great Depression was going on which made one of the toughest times to sell cars. When the company went bankrupt twice, he was not about to give up. When he was forty years old, he created the Ford Motor Company. On one of his projects he made a design for a car that broke the fastest car record. Once the word went around people started to buy his cars. Once the Great Depression ended he started making money. Today Ford Motor Company is one of the most successful company in America.

Richard Joseph Daley, the grandson of Irish immigrants, was born in the Bridgeport area of Chicago on May 15, 1902. He was graduated from De La Salle Institute in 1918 and worked in the stockyards for several years before studying law. While studying, he worked as a clerk in the Cook County Controller's office. In 1936 Daley married Eleanor Guilfoyle, and the couple had three daughters and four sons. One son, Richard M. Daley, served in the Illinois Senate and as Cook County state's attorney before being elected mayor of Chicago in 1989.
When Henry Ford was born on June 30th, 1863, neither him nor anyone for that matter, knew what an important role he would take in the future of mankind. Ford saw his first car when he was 12. He and his father where riding into Detroit at the time. At that moment, he knew what he wanted to do with his life: he wanted to make a difference in the automobile industry. Through out his life, he achieved this in an extraordinary way. That is why he will always be remembered in everyone’s heart. Through his life he accomplished extraordinary achievements such as going from a poor farm boy to a wealthy inventor who helped Thomas Edison. When he was a young man, he figured out how to use simple inventions, such as the light bulb. He then taught himself the design of a steamboat engine. His goal was to build a horse-less carriage. He had come up with several designs and in 1896, he produced his first car, the Model A. When Ford’s first car came out, he had been interviewed by a reporter and when asked about the history of the car, he had said “History is more or less bunk.” Ford worked in Thomas Edison’s factory for years and the left to become an apprentice for a car-producer in Detroit. While working there, he established how he was going to make the car.

Henry lived on the farm that was run by his father who was an Irish man, and his mother who was Dutch, his mother died when he was 12. After his mother death he helped out around the family farm in summer and in winter attended a one-room school. From the young age he was fascinating my moving mechanical things. Form the young age he was fascinated by watches and clocks. He went around the countryside doing repair work without pay, for him all mattered was to play with the machinery of the watch. From his personal experience on the farm he was fascinated my farm machines that reduced the drudgery of farm chores. We can notice there was a lot of a kid in him, and to go around or making his chores easier he invented his own farm machines. His fascination with machines grew as he grew older. At the age of thirteen, for the first time he saw a coal-fired steam engine that was rolling along a long rural road. From that point he grew more fascinated about machines that moved about a roads without any manpower. At the age of sixteen, and against the wishes of his father, he left the home farm for Detroit, where he found work as a mechanic’s apprentice. He was faced with low paying jobs. Working for $2.50 in mechanics shop then moved to watchmaker were he worked for four hours and was paid $2 a week. Steadily he worked him self up in Edison Illuminating Company, and became a chief engineer there. In 1884 he took charge of a farm his father gave him.
