When I was six-years-old, I started to help my parents make dinner, as in stirring the pot or suggest spices to go into the food. It was fun to do as a kid, but I have not grown out of cooking, the skill has only grown with me. Helping with dinner turned into me making meals for myself or for my family when my parents are working late or are sick. I love doing it, but I do not think too much about it. When I was eleven-years-old, I started to watch Cupcake Wars™. I would make suggestions on techniques they could have done differently. Cake decorators will bake and prepare icing and other decorations. Cake decorators will need to work with many tools and equipment in the kitchen. A cake decorator will take orders from customers on what flavor and decoration that will go on the cake. Most of the time cake decorators will work with non-edible products to create a display. The purpose of this experiment was to see how much the time spent baking in an oven would effect a cupcake. More specifically, how much it effects the rise. Also I wanted to see if I could find the perfect bake time where they tasted the best in my opinion. I was able to do that quite easily, with only a few problems.
