In today’s day and age, diversity is a big issue and must be taken into consideration of how it can affect others. It is of great importance that diversity is examined, explored, and welcomed in all aspects of life. Ageism, although not directly related to cultural diversity, is also a factor that coincides with how individuals view elders. Everywhere around the world, individuals are all culturally diverse. There is no one race that dominates others. Librarians must be both cultural and economically aware of its patrons and community, in order to serve and and perform at its highest peak. Without being culturally diverse, we as a society would not be able to learn, grow and thrive the way we do. Being culturally diverse makes us who we are, and we must learn to live with our differences. Being economically diverse is no difference either.
