China and America developed countries have differences in all levels of education and are reflected in different manifestations. For example, there are some differences between higher education and vocational education in China and the United States. U.S. universities have a credit system. Students may choose subjects according to their personal interests. Different subjects may have different credits. You can graduate with your credits to complete your diploma and degree. In the china, we have seen from the newspapers and magazines that American college students have obtained several degrees at a young age and I felt very puzzled. After I come to America and I study at college. I can understood that the U.S. university system is very flexible. College students can choose to study several professional courses during their studies. As long as they get enough credits, they can obtain a degree from that major. Chinese parents are accustomed to the children deciding what they are learning. For example, some chinese parents want their children to learn the piano a little, and learn how to make things and learn to be a scientist. But their children want to be teachers. However parents in America allow their children to play freely, and they can choose their hobbies at a young age and their parents do not interfere.
