In the process of advertising, there are sundry techniques that are applied that may either establish positive or negative effects to the products. Some of the aspects that make an advertisement to be taken negatively by the consumers is that it is to be believed to be economically improvident; and on the gregarious aspect, it provides the little truth about a certain product. All these aspects are the few examples of the aspects of advertisement that render it to being negative to the society. The culled advertisement of mine was pristinely run during Super Bowl XLVIII between the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Denver Broncos and National Football Conference (NFC) champion Seattle Seahawks. It became an Internet sensation and expeditiously became one of the most verbalized about topics at the time on Twitter. What brought it so much attention to it was the very different style that the ad showcased with series of Moms singing about losing their children to manhood, but as for my experience and many others, there were very comical moments throughout the advertisement that made this ad into something very different than others. The mothers were singing perpetually throughout the advertisement and following their sons around with their girlfriends and seem to be having an arduous time with relinquishing their boys. The components that are creepy to most people is one part where a mom elevates out of the couch and slithers to the other couch dejected over her son’s incipient life. Another is where a woman’s head pops out of the sand while the son and his doter are on the beach. One mother hangs on to her son’s car while riding in a laundry basket, while another disguise herself as the school janitor with a mask frighteningly reminiscent of Michael Myers. It is understandable after considering the details of the ad that this could be very creepy. The targeted audience, in my opinion, is my age group of guys. It is designated to be comical to us, as the experiences that these boys in the video go through are like the ones we have gone through as well. It does a good job of appealing to other kinds of people including moms, but it is on a different caliber and relates to their experiences with losing their little boys. Albeit the ad does a good job of relating to a guy’s perspective of growing into a man. It seems to appeal even to the older men who watch it and recollect their experiences and have gone through kindred circumstances. No matter what gender you are or rather you are a parent or not, you either visually perceive this ad as creepy or
