There comes a point in every person's life to where they must make decisions. Decisions regarding their faith or the person they might marry. However, there are always questions that may require deep thinking and to critically analyze the data. Critically thinking involves putting your mind to the ultimate test and really testing the boundaries of your way of thinking. Critically thinking is one of the most important traits to understand and go through life. Critically thinking can enhance someone's knowledge about a certain subject. Writing is key to a person's mind and how that individual thinks. Our lives are full of reasoning and questioning and it's up to us to make out what is important and not. Our choices are what decides our future and what we will be doing in life. The way we decide to critically think about certain subjects and choices will determine our happiness also. There probably would not be as advanced technology of medicine or phone devices. If no one cared to think and learn new things then we would not have many of the items we take for granted. Humans probably would not have cars, phone, or computers in which this essay is wrote on. The question is would we be better off without critical thinking or is it hand in hand with our livelihood? The fact of the question is as humans we long to be needed or feel wanted. Often people become depressed when laid off from a job or retire because they see no use for their life anymore. I believe having the option to critically think every day of our life's is often a gift we overlook because again as humans we are used to it. By this time in my life as a freshman in college I never have asked myself do I critically think? I never really have understood what happens when I put my mind to something and try my best and truly study something. Another reason of why critically thinking is absolutely necessary is because employers are always wanted critical thinkers. Employers need someone to trust with their company and the money that they have invested into it. Before you can be ready for a job that requires you to critically think you must prove yourself to the employer that you are a trustworthy worker and someone they could rely on.
