Alongside Criminal Justice my other major is Biology and I can’t help but look at many criminology issues from a biological perspective/bias. I absolutely believe that criminality is caused by our biology as humans. We as living creatures will act on our impulses to survive and reproduce regardless of what rules society puts on us. Therefore we have criminals and will continue to see criminal behavior until we live in some fairytale utopia society where every individual is fulfilled completely. I believe every individual would commit crimes, perhaps even heinous crimes, as long as the benefits outweigh the risks.
