Rick Grimes, a police officer, shot in the line of duty, was in a comma. While Rick was out, zombies (called Walkers) came unexpectedly and laid waste to the world leaving a few living left. Rick wakes up and witnesses this in the fallout stages. He puts on his uniform and sets out to find his wife Lori and his son Carl. On his way through the fallen city of Atlanta he meets a man named Glenn, they help one another find their way back to the “Atlanta camp.”
Rick goes back to the camp and meets a man, who is my favorite character, Daryl Dixon along with a few others. Life went well at the camp until one night, one terrible night. The Walkers attacked the camp. Rick feels it’s no longer safe and heads out to a military institution.

He then puts a gun in his mouth feeling he has nothing to live for but just then, a cry for help. He sees a man running away from the Walkers yelling for help. Abraham then kills the walkers and then goes back to his knees and killing himself, but the man tells him “I have a very important mission.”
The Walking Dead is aimed for teenagers and adults, not younger kids. Some of the screens are gruesome and may give kids nightmares. The main characters in the show are: Rick Grimes (portrayed by Andrew Lincoln), Carl Grimes (portrayed by Chandler Riggs) ,Daryl Dixon (portrayed by Norman Reedus) my favorite character, Carol (portrayed by Melissa McBride), Glenn (portrayed by Steven Yeun), Michonne (portrayed by Danai Gurira), Maggie (portrayed by Lauren Cohan), Beth (portrayed by Emily Kinney), and the infant Judith (portrayed by Natalie Abrams).
On the show each character has its own story and tells it as we go leaving us with who they were before the world changed and who they are now. The group feels that it is their duty in the world now to survive and stay as human as possible by not losing their
