I was kneeling on the ground, barely breathing. I felt the venom coursing through my veins. I tried my best to stand, but my legs were weak. I could almost stand. "Still have the strength to stand, do you?" Cobra said. "Isolda, don't do this!" Natsu called. "Stay down! Your condition's bad enough!" "You're one to talk. At least I can stand." I laughed weakly. The smile was wiped from my face slowly as I uttered the words, "I'm sorry. But I can't sit here and watch him kill you." Cobra began to prepare another blow, that would surely be the death of me. I stood a little taller, and cracked a smile. If I was gonna die, I knew I had to accept it. The attack seemed to hit me full-on, but I didn't feel anything. That was when I realized. That Cobra's attack hadn't hit me. It hit Natsu. "Why the hell would you do that, Natsu?!" I screamed. That was the one thing I wasn't ready for. I was fully prepared to sacrifice myself for Natsu's safety. I wasn't expecting him to do that exact thing for me. The tears that were streaming down my face began to turn to steam. "You...you're gonna pay." "Aw, what's wrong?" Cobra said teasingly, stroking Kobelios. "Isn't this what you wanted, Ice Maiden?" I began to shake violently as I yelled, holding Natsu's lifeless body in my arms. "Don't call me by that name, God damn it." "You act like it's my fault that he's dead." My face began to cool down. "Shut the hell up!" I yelled as I stood up, gently lying Natsu's body on the ground. As my face began to return to its normal temperature, another tear slipped down my cheek.
