Imagine you were at saw a river and you looked closer, you saw the minnows swimming by the bank and also noticed carp sucking air on the top. Then, you see a catfish swimming downstream. You sat there and looked at it. What did you do?
Zero awoke to find himself standing, it was not something he was familiar with and he searched his memory for any recollection of it happening before. Quickly he discovered that large parts of his memory were missing, gone were the seemingly endless data bases of information. Quickly he sent out feelers trying for a connection of some sort but he drew a blank. It seemed that where ever he was now, had limited connection capacity. Instead he used his visual feed to survey his surrounding, it appeared he was in some kind of desert of discarded parts.
(Talking To Myself) “What should I write about?” “ I should write about my trip to Hawaii, Nah!! that ‘s too boring” “Ooh-- I should write about Mike, that might help me get my grades up and I should probably change his name to John or something like that” “So let’s get started”
The Creature That Opened My Eyes
Sympathy, anger, hate, and empathy, these are just a few of the emotions that came over me while getting to know and trying to understand the creature created by victor frankenstein in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. For the first time I became completely enthralled in a novel and learned to appreciate literature not only for the great stories they tell but also for the affect it could have on someones life as cliché as that might sound, if that weren’t enough it also gave me a greater appreciation and understanding of the idiom “never judge a book by its cover.”
As a pimply faced, insecure, loner, and at most times self absorbed sophomore in high school I was never one to put anytime or focus when it came time
Hughes ran along the hot sandy beach of Oahu, Hawaii. Oahu was a secret military that the enemies had found. It held missiles and experimental weaponry. The enemies had found it and captured it, he was there to take it back. He was just let out of a reinforcement helicopter onto the beach and it was already dangerous. He was trying to reach the front line to push the opposition back, but it was all for nothing he was stuck in the back. Hughes was thinking about how he could move up get to the front. As he figured out how to get to the base, he saw a large tank come up a dune with two smaller tanks trailing behind it. He knew this would be a hard battle considering they were now out gunned by the three massive tanks and two-thousand soldiers.
“King Henry! King Henry!” shouted Grism, breathing heavily, running up the steps to where his King was anxiously waiting.
Valx dried himself and changed into clean clothes. He dumped the water out the back door then headed to the dining room. The auburn floors groaned as he stepped through his dark, cozy house. Valx entered the dining room where bread and fish waited for him on a plate with an apple and cup of water on the side. He slipped over to a cabinet where he found a small knife. Valx tucked the knife into the back of his trousers and pulled his linen shirt over it before he sat to eat.
I killed my cousin in the land of the Argos , he was a powerful king with lots of important friends and what I did will follow me for the rest of my life. I was chased by the Argos for what I did, but I was grateful towards Telemakhos for letting me on his ship. The anger that I had towards him is what made me stab him, at the wild land of the argos, which was full of mountains and all sorts of terrain, the island was stunning full of life with plants, flowers, and bright green grass covering the whole Island; where my opulent cousin was the leader and he couldn't help me out. While I was on the ship and while I was running away from the Argos men, I learned from mistake and realized what I’ve actually done.
I open my eyes slowly and look around. I’m lying flat on my back on grass. Blinking, I can see I’m not alone. Kale lays to my right. I’m a bit startled to see him there. I look on my other side and see Sadie and Heather. What happened? Then I remember seeing that old lady, and Sadie and I in the bathroom. I sit up, to take in my surroundings. We’re lying in the middle of a small clearing. The trees around us are unusually huge and different plants and flowers are scattered around on bushes. I notice my friends, and I, look different too, older. We no longer have our teenager bodies, but now seemed to have reached adulthood. All of us have reached a firmer build and look more like adults instead of teenagers.
One of the most unique creatures are fish. As I am sitting here in my room, my fish are swimming about with not a care in the world. I wonder what it would feel like to be a fish.
