Chapter One: Crimson rain, a mysterious girl appears! The rain pelted down in torrents, stinging like hornets against the skin of the figure that rested beneath the golden glow of the streetlamp, her teal eyes trained on the crumpled piece of paper that she held as she tried to read the numbers through the rain smeared ink. House number 280. She finally made out, knowing that somewhere on this street sat the one place that could be a safe haven or her own personal hell. Fighting the tears that seemed to have their own mind on that particular night she headed down the sidewalk, forcing her shaking legs with each step as the pain in her lower abdomen seemed to get worse with every bit of movement. She thought, though doubts instantly filled her mind as she placed her hand on the gate. What if she hates me? What if she blames me for Daichi’s mistakes? What if she just sees me as some baseborn loser? The tears came on stronger then, almost blinding her as she took a step forward against the gate, forcing it open with a creak though as she did so her legs gave way under her, causing her to collapse unto the concrete. Squeezing her eyes tightly closed she bit back the scream that built at the back of her throat as the force of the fall seemed to reawaken every wound that was on her body, then staggering to her feet she groaned as she felt blood once again began to drip down the inside of her legs. If I can just make it to the door….Maybe she will help. She thought as she forced herself to walk toward the steps that led up onto the porch, though she stumbled and only barely managed not falling on her face by grabbing the doorknob of the house.
