How to create a web page
Communications plays an important role on our daily life and the internet is the principal way of communication now days. People are connected to the World Wide Web more than 4 hours a day. These web pages could be created by anyone. I have my own web page about music and also I have been created web pages for friends and even they paid me to create their own web pages. I learned because I had the need to do my own page.

This email account needs to be your personal email account or an email that you have access. The email is going to help you received information from your web page related to upgrades, statistics etc. Also, they will send you a confirmation email when your web page is ready. I recommend creating a new email for this web page, that way you can organized the information in a better way.
There are some other things that you need before you start creating your web page. One important thing that you need is your title. This tittle is the way that people would know your web page. You also need a password. Create something easy to remember. Content is one of the most important things on a web page. If you are going to create a personal or a business web page the content needs to be ready before you create your page.
Photographs are another way to create content. Your web page would be better with pictures. Even if your page is personal or business, the visitors would have a better idea about you and about what you want to say or share. The next window will ask you to pick a temple. There are a lot of options. Select the one you like. You can always change it later. When you are done with the selection of your temple the next step is to add the content.

We were looking through the topics for this year’s theme on the NHD website. While we were scrolling through, we came upon this topic. Even though we were born here, our parents and their ancestors were born in China. We don’t know much of our family history except that we are Asian. We thought it would be interesting to learn more about our background and so the Nanking Massacre stuck out to us and became our NHD topic.

After reading Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White, a story of a little girl named Fern, her young friend Wilbur, and Charlotte. One of the quote from the book that triggered my interest was after Mr. Arable had given the pig to Fern, and she stated “Oh, look at him! He’s absolutely perfect.” This quote got my attention, because people look at things differently, and have different values. Mr. Arable saw Wilbur as an inconvenient pig due to his small size, so Mr. Arable wanted to rid of Wilbur before he causes trouble. However, Fern strongly believed that Mr. Arable was injustice by determining Wilbur’s fate just because of his mere figure. She believed that Wilbur’s life is just more than a pig, and should be given a chance. After several debate Mr. Arable gave in, and decided that Fern will take care of Wilbur instead and see the troubles he brings.

Also, I searched on YouTube as stated earlier on how to add videos and further information so I could add these to my website. It was time consuming and sometimes I had to watch it longer. However, I did develop my skills. Moreover, I could watch more videos seeing other skills until I am professional. It will help me for future purposes.

Although technology has improved the way we communicate and find information for research, the information is not always valid. While such literature is reviewed by an editorial staff, internet literature or information can be published by anyone.
