In the beginning of the play, Macbeth’s loyalty towards the king has been overthrown by the prophecies. Macbeth has replaced loyalty with greed for power and betrayal. In doing so, murderous deeds have been put into action. Lady Macbeth and the witches fill Macbeth with such ambition, which lead to the death of him. The impact of Macbeth’s ambition reflect death and guilt upon himself and others. Regarding Macbeth’s loss of loyalty, he fools many around him, being devious and cunning. Being against divine right, Macbeth commits a dreadful sin that throws Scotland in an unnatural state. Easily persuaded, Macbeth’s ambition was the success and fall of him. Witches being portrayed deceitful and speak in paradox, they have deceived Macbeth with prophecies, “fair is foul and foul is Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more: it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” (Act 5, Scene 5), states that you can do whatever in life, but death will eventually creep on your doorstep. Relating to Macbeth, he was “full of sound and fury”, but in the end dies and it signified nothing, only that it throws an unbalance of order in nature. Macbeth succeeds to be better, but in the process it destroys people's lives, including his own. Towards the scene five in act five, when Lady Macbeth dies, Macbeth has nothing else and is a lonely king that can only fight for his life for the wrong he has done. Charmed life that is believed to be true, lead to the action of being cocky and ignorant. After the shriek of Lady Macbeth, Macbeth says that she should of died the next day, after all has been done. Realizing the prophecies were beginning to be true, Macbeth is the same as Lady Macbeth. Poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, then is heard no more, since in the end, it did not change much, but have a new king with dead bodies upon
