A major quality is communication skills, customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Bartenders are just like waiters and waitress and take orders and talk to customers. Bartenders need to able to talk clearly and fluently to customers, maybe to go in depth with a plate that is in the menu or the ingredients of a drink. Decision making skills is big quality. Bartender should decide if an intoxicated customer had enough of alcohol assumed in their system and then deny their services.
