Alcohol can affect you in many ways. It can affect your judgement, depth perception as well as most importantly, vital motor skills required to drive safely. A recent statistic that came out recently showed that motor vehicle crashes are the leading of cause death among 16 to 25 year olds, and alcohol and/or drugs are a factor in 55% of those crashes. Studies conclude that drivers are over-represented in road crashes over two primary reasons; inexperience and immaturity. From my personal experience, I haven’t experienced any of these. None of my family members and or friends drink so it’s not really a concern.

To start, how big is the issue? Every day on average, 4 Canadians are killed and 175 are injured due to drunk driving. It’s estimated
