In my opinion, the mutual trust between healthcare providers and adolescents encourages them to seek help and talk comfortably about their health problems and concerns, thus reducing the potential risks. Therefore, the confidential reproductive health services should be provided to adolescents in some cases, because there are cases that require parents’ notification such as pregnancy, abortion or the incidence of sexually transmitted diseases (AIDS, hepatitis, etc.), which may pose a risk on an individual's life, risk and threat to society as a whole. I believe that parents have the right to know what is happening to their children, to help and support them. Adolescents may disagree with my opinion and regard the confidentiality as a right

Teenage birth specialists have often debated whether or not teenagers should have access to birth control and other contraceptives. Although some people think teenagers having birth control will promote promiscuity, birth control should be accessible to teens because they will put themselves at a higher risk for disease and pregnancy without it, and more teenage girls would get a high school diploma with it.
However it’s understandable for teens to think that birth control is the way to go with everything that is on T.V and the internet. Even when the facilities say they don’t have to tell their parents they immediately think that is the way out. Instead of these places encouraging these teens to tell their parents they are encouraging them to take birth control so they won’t get pregnant at a young age. Which isn’t necessarily wrong but they really shouldn’t be doing that with teens girls. They should first encourage them not to have sex and then talk to their parent’s. Young girl’s bodies are not the same as a full matured woman’s body. At that teen age our bodies are still going through changes so if we have chemicals in are body like that who is to say that it would work fine.

The words `test tube baby' have been used by school children as an insult, and many adults have seen an artificial means of giving birth as something perhaps only necessary for a lesbian woman, or a luxury item only available to the elite few. The reality is that assisted reproductive technologies (ART) have been helping infertile couples have children since 1978.1 The methods of in vitro fertilization, it's variants, and the other ART procedures are ways for persons that would otherwise have no hope of conception to conceive and, in a rapidly growing percentage of cases, give birth to healthy babies. As the technology has developed, the quality and range of assistance has developed as well. At present, the means of assisted reproduction and the capabilities of these procedures has grown at a somewhat dizzying pace. However, thought to the repercussions of the applications of ART are being disregarded to some extent while the public's knowledge and the understanding of embryologists and geneticists surges forward. The problems that come with teenage pregnancies include dropping out of school, receiving inadequate prenatal care, developing health problems, relying on public assistance to raise a child, and probably divorcing their partners. In most states, the law allows pregnant teenagers to take their babies for adoption without consulting their parents. The same laws allow the teenagers to have an abortion but require parental notification or consent before carrying out the procedure. These laws prove biased as they favor one resolution over the other, as they force some to bear babies they do not want by restricting their options.

It is very fortunate that the number of teen birth rates and number of teen pregnancies have decreased significantly in the past years. Even though the numbers have decreased, it is still an important issue that needs to be publicized and heard. With the help of good, informative sexual health education programs and foundations that continue raising the awareness of teenage pregnancy, the numbers should continue going down. This would not only be a good thing for teenagers, but also the society as the whole, as they would no longer be contributing to other social issues like poverty, poor education, and abuse. With teenage pregnancy decreasing, the society as a whole would be improving.
Today in this society many teenagers are having sex and not realizing what could happened after they have done it. Parents and teachers aren’t teaching their children proper information about sex. Teenagers believe nothing can happen and that sex isn’t a probable cause. Unfortunately, there are many risks that come along with teen pregnancy many of those include a life surrounded by poverty, medical and health issues, less schooling along with more dropout rates, and lower career ambitions. Teen pregnancy has many causes such as no access to protection, wanting to tie down a guy, Missing love or attention from parents, peer pressure mixed with "trends”, and sadly teenagers most common, lack of knowledge.
