Competitive priorities are the critical operational dimensions a process or supply chain must possess to satisfy internal or external customers, both now and in the future. Competitive priorities are planned for processes and the supply chain created from them. They must be present to maintain or build market share or to allow other internal processes to be successful. As far as I’m concerned, the operation management is the key point that matters for Xin Dong Fang. Take the Ku Xue Ku Wan Summer Camp, which is the program that my company cooperated with Xin Dong Fang, as an example. This is customer contact in services-- physical contact. Let the customers know more about the courses and increase customer satisfaction. Furthermore, after knowing more about what the children are attending, the parents are more willing to pay for the courses.
On the education industry, this is very common for recruiting new students. However, the advantage for Xin Dong Fang is that the quality of teaching. All of the teachers in Xin Dong Fang are those who have been studied abroad on educational field. For these teachers, they know more about the exams and know more about the techniques of getting high scores on it. The excellent teacher group edit their own textbooks for different subjects. The students who attend the class will use the specific textbook for that class.
Indeed, in China, most of the students attend training center for improvement on exams. For the rest of students who attend the training center are for interest. There is one important factor to create a customer-driven operation strategy for service company such as Xin Dong Fang to understand what the customers want and how to provide the service for them.
