For example, each have their own shape and dimension. Sanic’s 2D while you have sonic.exe’s 3D so it's like a piece of paper was sanic and a person was sonic.exe. Another difference is how they were drawn. Sanic is drawn like a 2 year old drew him in like 4 minutes while actually someone actually made him like this to make people more interested in him to see why they made him like this and how he works.
