Moving to a system to another one is not always an uncomplicated process, but when it comes to education, it becomes much harder since we might not always recognize which system is the best or if we will be able to be adapted to the recent one. For example, if one is moving to the French educational system to the American educational system, he would not unlike to identify what the differences between the two systems are. Although French and American educational systems are on top of the list of the best educational systems of the world, they have a few non-negligible differences such as the schedule, exams, classrooms, and the infrastructure that need to be considered before switching to one to another.
The first major difference between French educational system and the American educational system is the schedule. In the French education system, students go to school in six weeks from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with two weeks off until the summer holiday. In addition, they do not usually …show more content…

Classroom in the French education system is considered to be unique and specific. Students are not expected to switch their class to another one of the reasons that they have a different course. This means that a classroom refers to a level. They just stay in the classroom and the professors come to them. Also, the ambiance in the classroom is pretty strict. There are no liberties like changing to sit whenever one desires in class. The professor-students relationship is often highly formal. For example, one cannot call the professor by his first name. Meanwhile, in the American educational system, the concept of classroom is totally different. There, the classroom represents just a space where the instructors and his pupils meet in for the lecture. The students do not have a precise classroom.
