For religious people, religious activities are their daily work. Newport said, “This year, 56% Americans have said religion is very important. They can pray in front of the Buddha altar, the God altar, and they can also go to the temple or go to the church to pray. Christianity and Buddhism is the large and popular religion. They both teach people how to be an ethical human in society. The concepts of Sakyamuni’s Buddhist theories are profound and complicated. Sometimes, they are difficult to understand. Both sides recognize the impermanence event. Looking at the life that we can see the change. Nothing is permanent, dry grass, the flowers fall. This flourishing empire and decadent. People live and people die. Human are born, grow up, grow old, get sick and die. It is impermanent. Both sides raise ethical standards. It teaches people to be honest, disciplined, bright mind and love people. Next, Christianity and Buddhism prohibit murder, fraud, forbidden sexual desire, forbidden to lie, gluttonous, and drunkenness. Buddhism has “Five Precepts” and the “Noble Eightfold Path”. Christianity has the “Ten Commandments”. To interacting in social life, they both emphasize meditation and self-discipline skills. They praise the sympathy and teach human should respect for life. Buddhism teaches to renounce all desire. Christianity teaches to keep yourselves from unworthy and unclean appetency. Mahayana Buddhists believe in heaven and hell with rewards or punishments future, which is similar to conceptions about the payoff futures’ Christianity. Finally, they both guide people to the honest and have a peace mind. It is the way to help people to accept the troubles that happen in their life. According to Buddhism, life is not significant, but according to Christianity, life is meaning because they have God. Buddha consistently denied any divine acclamation for him. Buddha taught: "I have found the way, and now we show you the way." The Lord Jesus claimed to be the Son of God, "I and the Father are one." He made it clear clearly, "I am the way, the truth and the life." Jesus accepted the worship of many for his contemporaries.
