Trump vs. Clinton
This year’s presidential election may be the closest in history! Candidates Trump and Clinton are neck and neck with the vote results. Although they agree on a few topics, Donald and Hillary disagree on many topics. Hillary promises and education reform, health care reform, and tax reform. Like Clinton, Trump promises tax reform, but he also promises trade reform and immigration reform. In this 2016 election, Trump and Clinton made promises contributing to the U.S. Nation. Donald John Trump is a Republican who is running in the presidential race. According to donaldjtrump.com, “...Trump is an American businessman...and politician who is a Republican Party nominee for President of

Donald is against abortion except for if a woman is raped. Trump has strong support of keeping the Second Amendment, the right to bear arms. Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton is a Democrat who is a running candidate for the President of the United States. According to Biography.com, “In 2016, she became the first woman in U.S. history to become the presidential nominee of a major political party.” Hillary plans to make an comprehensive immigration reform with a path to full and equal citizenship. Clinton believes that there should be legal, safe abortions. She ensures same-sex marriage. Hillary claims that she will fight for reforms to retain guns away from domestic abusers, violent criminals, and terrorists. There are a select few things that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton agree on. According to The Washington Post, “...both candidates would change the tax code in important ways.” Trump and Clinton each have their own strategy for this issue. These presidential candidates came out for the opposition of free trade. They want to rebuild America’s infrastructure, like bridges and waterways. Clinton and Trump are wanting to provide better health care for American
The U.S. president is a person deemed to be the most fitting person to lead this country through thick and thin. It’s been such a successful method that it has led to 43 individual men being put in charge of running this country. However, this doesn’t mean that each one has been good or hasn’t had an issue they couldn’t resolve when in office. But no matter what, each one has left a very unique imprint on the history and evolution of this nation. However when two are compared against one another, some rather surprising similarities may be found. Even better, is what happens when two presidents are compared and they are from the same political party but separated by a large numbers of years between them. In doing this, not only do we see the difference between the two but the interesting evolution of political idea in one party.
In the United States of America, every four years, American citizens sit down and vote upon who they would like to be the new up and coming president. Citizens often debate on different aspects that would affect their presidencies, such as their domestic and foreign policies. The two past United States Presidents of Theodore Roosevelt and Franklin Delano Roosevelt are two presidents that are often compared on their different policies due to their family background. After realizing that the two are brothers, individuals often assume that the two are similar in their policies, while in fact, this is certainly not the case. While some Americans may believe that Theodore Roosevelt and Franklin Delano Roosevelt are similar in their presidencies
The 2016 presidential election has been one of the most talked about elections because of one man, Donald Trump. When the billionaire real estate mogul announced that he would be running for the Republican Party candidacy in the 2016 presidential election, he sent this country into an uproar. Donald Trump, who has never shied away from the media, has become one of the most talked about presidential candidate in history. On the day of his announcement for the republican candidacy, he sparked controversy because of his comment about the Mexican people, stating:
Because Donald Trump wanted to become a Presidential Candidate to shake up America and our way of choosing a Commander in Chief he has taken the focus off of other candidates. To me, he has done just that. In turn, he has also showcased a lot of his ignorant behavior and poor attitudes towards others. Eventually, this will affect how America votes; against Donald Trump. Furthermore, Donald Trump lacks a Presidential form of social interaction. This candidate appears to be impatient when others challenge his position on facts versus his opinions. When he dislikes someone politically or personally, Trump uses his popular attack-mode tactics to make his point. Repeatedly Donald Trump fails to be intellectually stimulating as a Presidential Candidate. Often he has a habit of stating his offensive
It is obvious that these two candidates have, for the most part, opposing views about these selected issues. And it is also palpable that most of my views coincide with Bush's views.
First, there is the content. Compared to Donald, Hillary carefully followed the Toulmin Model, which made her debate seem more powerful and persuasive. The Toulmin Model helps arguers craft and dissect their arguments. It consists of three main elements: claim, data, and warrant. Both candidates
Donald Trump’s hypocritical claim to be a Christian is conspicuous as he holds up Grandma’s bible and mispronounces 2 Corinthians, etc., as if to make a joke of the whole thing. When 60 minutes first interviewed with Donald Trump and his new running mate, Mike Pence, interviewer Leslie Stahl contrasted the difference between the two, saying Trump was brash and Pence was quiet and religious. Trump butted in, “Oh, I’m religious.” The proof he offered? “Well, I won the evangelicals.” Trump said.
Obama and Clinton hold remarkably similar backgrounds, yet a bit different. Both of the men went to college and became lawyers. Clinton and Obama participate in the Democrat Political Party. Obama lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, for most of his childhood with his mother and alcoholic grandfather, whereas Clinton, also raised by his mother and an alcoholic step-father, lived in
And it was more than just tonal differences. Trump expressed little concerns for deficits -- a core principle of the most recent iteration of the GOP, best represented by Speaker Paul Ryan. His views on immigration -- from his desire to build a wall along the country's southern border to his so-called travel ban -- represented a clear break from efforts led Sens. John McCain, R-Arizona, and Marco Rubio, R-Florida, among others, to shepherd a comprehensive immigration reform bill to passage in Congress.
Donald Trump is a republican politician and businessman who was elected on November 8, 2016, as the president of United States taking the power in January of 2017. Trump brought many worries to a lot of people in the U.S.A and abroad which made them unhappy, but his presidency also made many people happy, especially Christians and republicans. I personally did not watch the debates, but I was able to hear about it on people around me, as most of the people that I know wanted Hillary Clinton to win because they saw so much of discrimination on Trump. Trump focused his campaign and debates on focusing on changing America for better, but the better changes were saying was only to give the opportunities to Americans only, cutting off the opportunity
Thesis: Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton two people who we think are nothing alike but despite their many differences they have a lot in common.
Democrats want to cut down the taxes for middle and lower income classes and raise them high for the people in the higher income section. They want the tax code to be brought back into state. Democrats hope to cut down takes for 98 percent of Americans and families. Republicans also believe that tax reduction is important. They believe that budget surpluses have caused Americans to be over taxed. Republicans want to make the research tax credit permanent to encourage and promote entrepreneurship. They want to encourage in saving and investing by implementing a tax credits for any investment. In 2012 Republicans reject the use of taxation to redistribute income. They support making taxes fair, flatter, and simpler. Also, republicans do not support taxation of religious programs, charities or fraternal societies and they should have tax deduction. Overall republicans and democrats support tax cut, the two parties still have very different wishes and
Many Americans are beginning to wonder who will run as the democratic candidate in the next president of the United States. Since the 2008 election, one particular name has been the topic of conversation around most media outlets and households across the county. With over one million supporters who believe in her abilities to lead, Hillary Clinton possesses the qualities that meet the leadership criteria that would help her to become the leader of the free world.
Republican candidate, Donald Trump is a bully, a racist, the opposite of a role model, and an individual who is completely unfit to serve as commander in chief and to hold the title as The President of the United States. It is necessary to label Trump as hazardous, plain and simple. Our families and society as a whole need to fully comprehend the danger and the threat this man poses to us all. In addition, candidate Trump is putting the persona of our great country in jeopardy.
The presidential election of 2017, between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, was one of the most controversial elections in U.S. history. Both the candidates played dirty and accusations were made about both. Democrats found Trump an easy person to insult because of his racist and sexist remarks. Also, he was an easy target for the media because of his tendency to speak without thinking. As someone who loves politics, this was a very entertaining election. Because of this love for politics, I wanted to learn as much as I could about both major party candidates. In my reading, I found that neither candidate was anywhere near perfect, but Trump clearly had less experience. Also, I found his lack of tactfulness and common curtsey shocking. I
