Chevy and ford have always been rivals ever since the beginning and the main question for everybody nowadays is which company actually makes the nicer, stronger, and overall better car. Chevy and ford fans have always been split. You have die hard fans on both sides who will argue that their brand is better. Everybody has a preference and both sides have their positives and both have some negatives.
Ever since the 1950’s Chevy and ford have been battling it out to this day and it is still a strong competition. This has forced both companies to produce better cars to compete with their rival. That stands stands for General Motors.a General Motors not only owns Chevrolet, but they also own GMC, Cadillac, and Buick. GMC vehicles are just nicer versions of chevy models. For example you have the Chevy Tahoe, or you can have a nicer version called the GMC Yukon.
Ford made their first care in 1908 with the model T. Ford is the parent company and also owns Lincoln and Mazda. Henry Ford founded the company and is said to be the father of the automotive industry. Ford has introduced many models and also ended many models. Some of these older models that are no longer produced are worth lots of money and are considered a collectors item.
Both Ford and Chevy have many models that compete with each other. For example Chevy has the Camaro, Ford has the Mustang. Camaros were first introduced in 1967, on the other hand Mustangs were first introduced in 1964. Chevrolet also makes Silverado. That is probably their most popular truck. Ford has the F-150, Which is their most popular truck. The Silverado first came out in 1975.
