Advantages:

Many women are faced with the dilemma to breast or bottle feed their infant. There are dilemmas in which our natural awareness is completely misunderstood as being a disrespectful act of indecent exposure, when in fact it’s one of the most natural acts in the world today. According to a few authors Labbok, Hausman, and Smith book Beyond Health, Beyond Choice: Breastfeeding Constraints and Realities “At various points in life, every person needs care from another person—a caregiver”. (pg. 123). Infants and young children require care for survival and common development. Breastfeeding is really a healthy act for both mother and child for their wellbeing. However many women worry about this, it is rare that a mother will produce too little milk.
• Mother ought to have the appropriate respect to breastfeeding in public places without feeling intimidated or self-conscious for creating public embarrassment.
It is healthy and worth doing all you can to overcome breastfeeding challenges. Most mothers find that the early struggles pass rapidly, and they settle down into a workable and enjoyable feeding routine with their little individual.
If you are a smoker, it is still a good idea to breastfeed just stop smoking.
• Breast milk can help to cancel out some of the risks to your baby from exposure to smoking.
• If you smoke cigarettes, smoke after breastfeeding, so your baby gets the least amount of nicotine.
It is safe to breastfeed your baby if you have hepatitis B or hepatitis C. If a mother’s nipples are cracked or bleeding, you should stop nursing. Express your milk and throw it away until your breasts heal.
Mothers who should not breastfeed include those who:
• Are infected with HIV or AIDS, as they can pass the virus to their baby.
• Are taking certain medicines required to treat continuing health problem.
• If the mother have an alcohol or drug addiction.
