Holidays are a time of heartwarming, memories and joy. The aroma of the food always brings a smile to my face. Christmas is the most wonderful time in the world. Christmas and Thanksgiving are all about love and being able to give back. Both of the holidays are the most celebrated holidays in the United States. My two favorite holidays are Thanksgiving and Christmas because it unites family from different parts of the world together and the homemade food brings back the fun and touching memories.
One of my favorite holidays is Christmas. Christmas is “The most wonderful time in the year.” In my family, Christmas is the biggest party of the year. My family’s religion is Catholic and Christmas is a very important day to us, that is why we have a big family get together. My family is united from different areas of the world and the country. Thanksgiving is a national and important holiday in the United States. During this day, families come together and say prayers of thanks for the past year. Every year during Thanksgiving there is a few of the same main dishes, but we like to change it up a little every time. On Thanksgiving, my family and I always spend the day together out in the city and then we go home cook and then have a big meal with all of my aunts and uncles. Our favorite part of Thanksgiving is the turkey. Turkey can only be made so many times in the year, it’s important to value the moments that we can eat it. The way that my family makes the turkey brings aroma into the air, and once we are able to eat we do not regret waiting for it.
