Community There happens to be many different definitions of a community. One that many people think of would probably have to be a group of people that live in the same city as each other. A citizen is someone who is active or inactive in their community. The role of a citizen in a community means to do things to help better the community or help themselves. The text of The Iliad of Homer and The Bible will support this statement. In the story of The Holy Bible, Moses is one of the most humble people in the eyes of God. God tells Moses “Now the man moses was very humble, more than anyone else on the face of the earth” (Numbers 12:3). Not to mention, but God and Moses had a great relationship with each other. God tells Moses: “Now therefore, if you obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession out of all the peoples. Indeed,the whole earth is mine, but you shall be for me a priestly kingdom and a holy nation” (Exodus 19:5-6). God is telling Moses that He will be his favorite person on the face of the earth if he just listens and obey God's commands and follow his rules. Agamemnon's relationship with his wife is a little different, They do not really get along as well. He says, “ Since I like her better than Klytaimestra my own wife (Homer 113-114). Agamemnon says this before he comes home from the Trojan war and Klytaimestra had to hear it from other people, so when Agamemnon did get home from the war Klytaimestra was upset with him.
