Cleveland State Community College Versus University of Tennessee Seniors all over are preparing for their final days of high school, living every last moment to the fullest; however, these students will also have to start preparing for college, which is a struggle to decide which is the best choice for them. These students are used to just jumping into the next school year without having to find a new school, so finding a college that meets their exact necessities is quite challenging. Two options for these students to consider are Cleveland State Community College and the University of Tennessee. Although these colleges offer great financial opportunities, they differ in a variety of ways that will ultimately influence the college a student chooses. To start with, CSCC and UTK both provide scholarships that will help pay for expenses. Cleveland State offers scholarships such as the Tennessee Scholars Scholarship and the Principal’s Academic Service Scholarship. To qualify for these scholarships is quite simple. Ultimately, if a student is looking for a smaller college campus experience, then Cleveland State is good option because it is in a smaller town and provides a better way of getting to know other fellow students. CSCC also allows students to be able to focus more in their classes because of there being less students on campus. On the other hand, the University of Tennessee has a much larger campus. It is located in a bigger city with a much larger diversity of students attending, and students have the opportunity to live a more independent lifestyle.
