The growth of New France in North America was that they began to cultivate wheat which became a main export. They began to gain in their trade activities with their ties with the natives. The British Atlantic seaboards began gain more interesting goods with cheaper prices which the indians really like. 2. Spain founded settlements in the Southwest and Florida because after the pueblo revolt they wanted to repopulate New Mexico. They wanted to stop the French influences towards the indians. The Spanish wanted in in the deerskin trade too. They differed from the British colonies because the spanish offered escaped, english-owned slaves to have freedom in Florida. The British were more rich, small, and didn't have a lot of indians. 3.
