The past is my heritage; the present- my responsibility, the future - my challenge. I did not grow up in a rich family, but we were rich in how we loved each other and respected each other. It was Something that money cannot buy. Today, it is my responsibility to keep these values, among my family, friends, and other people. And tomorrow, I want to achieve a dream, a dream that I have had since I was a little, and that dream, is to continue with my education. My parents did not have a high level of education. They just completed elementary school. When they got married, neither of them had money. My dad worked building houses, and my mom was a stay at home mom. They lived in my uncle's house, my mom's brother. I have seven siblings, four brothers and three sisters. Even though we did not live in a pretty house, we lived very happily. Our childhood was very nice, because my mom and my dad always treated us with love and respect. Similar to what my parents did, I support my children in their education. In order to support my children in their education, I decided to come to Escuela Popular high school to learn English ,without imagining that I would get my high school diploma. Here, in Escuela Popular, I have learned many lessons, especially one that made me think seriously to achieve my goals and my dreams. My dreams are for my children and I to have success. My children represent the present and through my own education, I will fulfill my responsibility to guide them to their own
