However in this case, we’ll narrow paradigm to have a similar definition to that of a ‘theory’, which is a system of ideas used to explain something; it can also be deemed a model for the scientific community to follow. Kuhn’s explanation of a Scientific Revolution brings to light one major problem—the problem of incommensurability. Before explaining what the problem of incommensurability is, we need to see how the scientific revolution works according to Kuhn. Initially there is a paradigm that is followed by scientists who use it to solve puzzles in the scientific community. However, once scientists can no longer solve multiple puzzles (anomalies) by using that paradigm, the scientific community enters what is known as a crisis.
The method by which we gather this knowledge and the ability of the knowledge to accurately explain why things work the ways they do are equally important. Moreover, with science we are trying to bring an order into, a chaotic world. With giving things names we take the mystery out of it and it makes it less scary for us. Also, this gained knowledge needs to be continually compared to the real world to test and improve its accuracy and demonstrate its explanatory power (Popper 1988). I agree with Popper (1988), who stated that only those propositions that research may prove false should be considered as scientific (the principle of falsification).
Behaviorism asserts that reality can only be defined by what a person can scientifically measure and observe. Also with behaviorism I will use behavior modification and reward students with positive reinforcement for doing good work. Using not only nods, smiles and positive words I will use other methods to reward students. I plan to encourage students to design their own science lab experiments that relate to the material being studied at the time. Throughout this essay, I will attempt to show that which is accepted as knowledge today, is sometimes discarded in regards to the natural sciences and history as areas of knowledge. In the field of the natural sciences, scientists discard that which was considered knowledge previously on a regular basis due to the consistent development of new knowledge. It is the job of a scientist to not hold anything to be completely true without justifying the proposition for themselves. If a contradictory proposition is found to be true through justification by the scientific method of experimentation, the scientist conducting the research will accept the new proposition as knowledge and discard that which was previously held as knowledge. Through the scientific method, no proposition can be accepted as true by the scientific community until it has been confirmed on several occasions by several contrasting sources.

In conclusion, I think scientists take risks by practicing researches when they do not know the results until they see the final product. I believe that in some point of our lives we need to take risks because if we do not take risks we will never find out what difference could we make in society.
I blueprinted an ideal Youth Program I could create for adolescent females. It wasn’t until entered into a spirited debate with of my close friends, remembering the knowledge I had gained from my child development course work that I realized a Masters in School Psychology would be the perfect fit for the goals I had in life, my skill set and my passions. As a person who has spent the greater part of my education studying psychology and who began my work experiences with children, I believe that I will make an excellent contribution to Long Island University.
Now the process from which Science comes from science is clouded in mystery and can only be considered an empirical fact than a fully recognized and understood process. We must also understand that the work of scientists is science and not Science. A piece of work is started by a scientist, who then puts their information out into the scientific world, where it becomes a target for modification, verification, and falsification. Most scientific work rarely even causes a ripple in the grand scheme of things, but in some fortunate cases a scientist's work may stimulate further activity or even become adopted as an important addition, and eventually may surface usually with modifications into Science. The consequential point is that once a result has emerged and reached the stature of Science it is no longer owned by its originator.
As stated, ”An incorrect prediction does NOT mean that you ‘failed.’ It just means that the experiment brought some new facts to light that maybe you hadn't thought about before”(The Scientific Method,1). This in turn is important for refinement in the end of the experiment, which can only boost the reliability of one's data. Eventually the next stage is the experiment, the part that tests out ones hypothesis and designed to find if one’s idea was wrong or not. Lastly the final step is the conclusion in which the experimenter summarizes how the data corresponds to the hypothesis. The conclusion can be written in two ways; one may reject or not reject the hypothesis.
