If a soda reaches a higher level of uniqueness it can receive more popularity from its consumers as they will need to return to that specific soda to experience that unique flavor as it cannot be found anywhere else. This makes it important that a good soda becomes unique, so the soda can keep the consumer coming back wanting more. Coca-Cola strives in that aspect with its one of a kind taste that inspired a huge following. Coca-Cola has a dark, and rich sugary taste with hints of spices that dance around in the back of the mouth of the consumer. These flavors all come together in Coke to create an experience that every consumer recognizes as unique as it overwhelms the senses in a manner that is blissful for anyone who takes a sip from it.
The audience react emotionally to the joyfulness in the advertisement and probably their brains tell them to smile. Along with the music, the light, and Mean Joe’s smiling, Coca-Cola’s advertising succeeds in creating blithe feeling inside the audience. In other words, the Coca-cola Company builds its ethos by describing its product as a drink that can bring up happiness, create exceptional relationships, and most critically, make people smile.
These businesses appeal to issues that majority of people have in relation to their product, for example; the thought that all ciders are sweet. Once discovering the problem people have, they create a product that is supposedly guaranteed to solve this. Both commercials demonstrate that their particular product will solve their issue. The 5 seeds Cider advertisement includes copious examples of how their new cider is ‘not as sweet as you think’ which is stated as the slogan of the product. The Coca-Cola commercial on the other hand is showing how happy you can be if you drink their product.
Although Coca Cola is promoted through three different styles of advertising they however contain many similarities between them. All the adverts are targeted/ aimed at the younger generation.... ... middle of paper ... ... is sung gas an American accent which attracts, appeals to people more as it is a change from their own accents. Overall in conclusion I feel that Coca Cola's success throughout the world is mainly due to it's advertising campaign as it is the advertises that portray that by buying Coca Cola it will not only get rid of your thirst but will be giving you the confidence, energy, and a perfect lifestyle you want. It also implies that not only will you be buying Coke but you will be buying the 'American Dream'. Advertisement is one of the main reasons that Coco Cola has been so successful as the adverts allow people to identify the product easily.
The overall the lighting changes in the commercial changes the mood in the beginning from melancholy to very joyful. If a person is using a pathos argument they will also try and build an emotional connection towards their audience. Coca Cola uses that through its music. The lyrics in the song says “show me love” which is pathos in one phrase. Coca knows that if you can sympathize with your audience and potentially make them feel better in some way then people will buy their product more.
They done this so it will draw the consumer in, and automatically know it’s a Pepsi commercial. Also, at the bottom of the ad it says “Joy in Pepsi” they done this so it’s not over doing the Pepsi theme. Although, in my opinion, the blue background done it. Ethos was used in this ad, but not as strongly as... ... middle of paper ... ...Cola commercial, is a war scene this appeals to an audience of all age groups. Both advertisements uses pathos as the strongest, and ethos and logos as the weakest use of rhetorical appeal.
It is almost a defining factor in what makes a drink a soda or not. Without carbonation soft drinks would not be sodas, instead they would be classified as juices or many other types of drinks. Needless to say that a good example of a soda, such as Coca-Cola, would need to have carbonation included in it as well. The key is for the taste of the drink and the carbonation to work well together, so they create the experience in the consumer 's mouth. That is what Coke achieves perfectly and the reason why it is such a masterfully crafted soda.
The sound of the drink evokes positive consumer emotions when they consume PEPSI. 5. PEPSI is distinguished for its unique containers of attractive shape, characteristic only to this brand. 6. PEPSI brand possesses all the attributes, necessary to influence consumer senses.
These are the products that I will be assessing. The slogan for is an important part to a product and is usually placed on every advertisement. The slogan for Coco Cola is ‘always the real thing’, peculiarly on the poster we do not actually see it. This is strange because usually a slogan is put on adverts so the consumer sees it and has something to remember the product by. It is usually catchy and relates to the product in some way.
