There are many decisions that we humans have to make. Sometimes we don’t care what we choose, but once we get more details of what we were going to choose than we start to care. It’s weird how our brain works, but what I said in the previous sentence is true. We might not care about something, but if the person starts to learn about it, than they seem to get interested. There’s even some people that just learn something or already know something and if someone else tries to prove them wrong they will argue there reason and sometimes something’s are never reached to a single conclusion. One of the things that has been argued since a long time is either single sex education are better than co-ed schools. Parents don’t care at first, but then …show more content…

In fact they think that co-ed schools are way better than single sex school. They think that co-ed schools can offer way more than a single gender will ever offer. “Single-sex education does not educate girls and boys any better than coed schools…” (Pahlke 1). This can be true in some parts, but not everywhere. “…single-sex education may be better for students have included the idea that without boys in the classroom, girls would be able to thrive in traditionally male-dominated subjects, such as math and science.”(Pahlke 1). This statement from an article shows that even that the subject that were supposed to be dominated by boys can also be dominated by girls if they are all in an all-girl school. That way there is no distraction from the boy invading their education. “Some studies showed modest benefits for both boys and girls in math performance in single-sex schools, but not for science performance.”(Pahlke 1). They say that math was high on a single sex school, but not in science. Probably when they did the research the schools were focusing more on math and that’s why they didn’t do so go in their sciences. Than this article tried to back up on what they said but clearly it’s a lie. “However, these advantages in math were not evident in studies with more rigorous research methods.”(Pahlke 1). In this one they say that they didn’t use a correct technique to see how they did on math. How many studies than or how many different kinds of studies do they have to do so that they can be happy with the results? Until they see that they do badly on it? This makes no sense, if they are gathering data apparently they are going to go prepare and they are going to use technique that they know they are going to get the best
