) In the world of ours – war, world hunger, and water – are all problems that we face. On average six to eight million people die per year from not having enough water to drink. If I had to change the world I would make it easier for everyone to be able to get and drink clean water. Even though the world struggles with war which has killed 108 million people, it isn’t a daily thing it’s only once every 20 years, but dying from poor water is an everyday thing. Hunger is another huge problem, but not having water is worse. People can go days without food, but water is something we need to be drinking daily. (4) Having water everywhere will mean people will not die from dehydration, people will live healthier, people will be able to spend time
So back then pharmacists would sell water that was purified water as a medicine to help the sick. So even in these areas that have a little water but they have to walk miles every day to get some and then it’s not really even clean. So even if they do get enough water to live then they aren’t living the highest quality of life. With my idea of giving the whole world clean and free water would really help them also. This idea wouldn’t just be for people that live in a dessert but for any part of the world that struggles to have enough good clean
(3), (5) The water that they get still has things wrong with it: It may still have E. coli or Hepatitis A or Schistosoma. (9) Women, children, and elderly people – all have to walk several miles to the closest water and most of the time the water is contaminated. Nothing about the water is really good for them because when walking back and forth they are usually hauling about 40 pounds of water which can be very hard on their back. But with my chance to change the world with my water idea it would help them a lot. (8) Instead of having to go get water every day they could spend their time doing other important tasks, but probably the best thing they could do is – school. (7)The women of the town will have more down time: they will be able to plant gardens to make more food. Since the kids are in school and the mothers are making more food this is becoming a cycle of good evens. The kids in school will be able to go to college and become nurses, teachers, and maybe business owners. This cycle will soon keep repeating to make this 3rd world country that doesn’t have water into a country that has some say in the
