The American Victory in the Revolutionary War created a positive growth physically and mentally for Americans, society, and government. Without the ideologies of the founding fathers, we would not have the freedom, government, and equality as an American. The courageous men all spoke out in a selfless way for each American fighting for their rights. This successful victory would not have been possible without the civic virtues of each founding father.
Most of the founding fathers believed that each virtue was not about competition or disagreements but what they thought would be best for our country. As Samuel Adams states, “Neither the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt.” (Samuel Adams) He believed that even the best laws and constitution will not keep liberty safe, rather than the people who fight for liberty and promote its virtue will be the ones in power. Consequently, not only do we have independence and free will, but also have a representative government. We are currently living our lives based on the ideas in choosing what is best for the people and the society. Today, the equality of men and women are one of the virtues that the founding father had in mind, but unfortunately did not get to get the recognition and is not being put into full affect. I believe the right of equality and freedom for the most under represented group in America, women. Many people think that women these days cannot do as many things men are able to do. Living in this generation, there are may sexists out there that will turn a single woman down because they think that a woman cannot succeed in a challenging task that is usually expected from a man.
