The Westernized "Disney Version" of Cinderella that many young boys and girls grow up reading as a bedtime story is one of young girl having to grow up without a mother and father, living with her wicked step mother and two stepsisters. Cinderella is treated horribly; constantly hearing how disgusting she is and how she could never attend the ball for not just her looks but, her personality as well. Cinderella is told crudely that she will never be able to attend the ball because she does not have the necessities to attend. Necessities’ include, proper attire and accessories. Cinderella tries to find more distractions by continuing to ask how will she ever get there, where the fairy godmother responds with a wave of her wand. Poof, out of a pumpkin comes a striking carriage to bring Cinderella to her awaited destiny. The only by-product is she must be back before midnight. As the clock strikes midnight and Cinderella realizes the great proportions she must take, she leaves her glass slipper on the top stair running off into the night. Prince charming finds her shoe whilst running after the mysterious woman, he declares that he will find his princess. He travels from village to village to try and find the foot that will perfectly fit the shoe. The prince tested every foot in the village. He ultimately reaches Cinderella’s house where her two wicked step sisters are waiting. Although both try on the infamous glass slipper neither of their foot fit. Until, the prince asked the wicked step mother if she had another daughter, she answers, yes and in fact it was Cinderella.
