Christopher Wallace a.k.a. Notorious B.IG. Christopher George Latore Wallace was born on May 21st, 1972. The background of the notorious B.I.G Wallace, he was the son of Jamaican parents, Voletta, a preschool teacher, and George Latore, a welder and small-time politician. Growing up he was raised in the poor neighborhood of Bedford-Stuy vesant as the son of a preschool teacher. Dropping out of high school at the age of seventeen biggie became a crack dealer, which he proclaimed was only source of income. On the night of March 8,1997 around 12:47 a.m. According to the FBI Case Files at the time of the murder Biggie Smalls was traveling with entourage in two GMC Suburban along with associates Damion Butler a.k.a "D-Roc" junior M.A.F.I.A member Lil Cease, and driver Gregory Yong a.k.a G-money. Sean Combs a.k.a “P-Diddy “and Puff Daddy, the CEO of Bad Boys Records Which Biggie Smalls was signed to, was travelling in the front GMC Suburban along with three bodyguards. The Chevy Blazer with Bad Boys Record label director of security was in the rear behind Biggie Smalls Suburban. Witnesses stated that a black man dresses in blue suit and bow tie driving a dark color Chevy Impala SS, drove up next to Biggie’s Suburban wind down his window and fire four shots from a 9mm Blue steel pistol, into Biggie’s Suburban hitting and killing him. According to witnesses the shooting was gang related and Biggie’s death was retaliation for the murder of Rapper Tupac Shakur six months
