Christians' Beliefs According to the Teachings of the Kingdom of God The teachings Jesus gave two thousand years ago are still used by modern day Christians in their everyday lives. Sometimes these Christians give up their lives in the service of God, living their lives according to the teachings about the Kingdom of God. In my opinion the best example of this is Mother Teresa, who sacrificed the best part of her life to help others. She became a Loreto Nun and trained in India while working in Calcutta as a teacher. Outside on the streets she saw many poor people in horrific living conditions and sacrificed everything else to make their lives better. She gave all her time and money to the poor and dying. She had also given up her possessions - which Jesus teaches the rich man to do in Mark Ch12. Mother Teresa was a Christian but her hospitals and school did not discriminate against other religions - she was open to everyone, like the Kingdom of God. She followed what Jesus said were the two most important commandments by firstly loving God, so much as to give up her life to be a nun, and to secondly love others as herself by giving all her efforts to helping others. Because she was a Christian it affected the way she lived and thought applying her beliefs to her lifestyle and so proving her place in the kingdom of God. She believed this was not just luck it was God's will, and in Mark 10:27 Jesus says that "everything is possible for God" so God could have controlled/aided her success - so that her faith shone through her work - like the parable of the Lamp under a Bowl. Jesus suggested in his teachings that prayer was a powerful tool, from the epileptic boy, the disciples tried to free a boy from an evil sprit but Jesus said "only prayer can drive this kind out". Today in Lourdes in France many Christians go on a pilgrimage to pray for healing from diseases, and they believe that being close to a holy
As a result, she wanted to provide a better and memorable childhood for her children by educating them in a better way. For instance, by showing and transmit them love and at the same time doing so with other people and animals. That animals are not just an object or an insignificant life but to treat them as part of the family. She wanted to show them those principles by not having a repetitive cycle about her own experiences as a child.

Frances Cabrini was born in July 15, 1850 to Agostino Cabrini and Stella Oldini in Sant’Angelo Lodigiano, Lombardi, Italy. She was one of eleven children born to the Cabrini family and one of the only four children that survived past adolescence. She was born two months premature and was small and weak as a child. These factors, as well as the strong faith of her parents, would have an impact on the rest of her life, mission, and works. Agostino Cabrini, her father, often read Propagation of the Faith to her and the rest of the family. The stories were all about the missions in China and from a young age, Frances desired to become a missionary. By the age of eighteen, Frances knew that she wanted to be a nun, however; her weak health stood in the way. She could not join the Sacred Heart of Jesus. So instead, in 1863, Frances enrolled as a boarding student at the Normal School in Arluno with the intentions of becoming a schoolteacher. The school was directed by the Daughters of the Sacred Heart. Frances lived at the school for five years, residing in the convent with the nuns. Frances was elated to live with the nuns and to share a faith-centered life with them. She graduated from the Normal School in 1868 with a degree in teaching.
What her reasons for it were I don’t know. But she did a good job. She raised twelve children. She led a good life.”
There are five core beliefs in the Bible that has a significant impact on the Christian faith and the lives of its adherents. These five beliefs are, the divinity and humanity of Jesus, the death and resurrection of Jesus, the nature of God and the trinity, the revelation and salvation. These beliefs are all clearly demonstrated in various forms and quantities across all Christian denominations.
Christianity and Islam are the largest religions in the world. Thirty-three percent of the world 's population are Christian, twenty-one percent Muslim. The world 's two largest religions have much in common, but they are also different in some crucial ways.
The Christian worldview is centered on the Gospel and places their beliefs in the essential teachings of the Trinity, the deity of Jesus Christ, and Jesus’ resurrection from the dead (DiVincenzo, 2015). This paper will explain who God is and what he created, what our purpose and nature is as humans, who Jesus was and what he did while on earth, how God plans to bring his people back into the right relationship with himself, and as a Christian how one is to live their life with an analysis of the Christian worldview.

The Middle East was a famous historic region where it provisioned as the origin for some religions and societies, for example, Christianity and Islam. These two religions differ in their history, conviction, and customs. They also have an additional number of similarities.
Christianity is a diverse religion with a multitude of beliefs that comprise the core of the religion. There are an abundant number of sects within Christianity however there are a few core principles which are generally true for all of them, for example the belief of the Holy Trinity or better known as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is what would be considered a primary belief. A primary belief is an idea that is a generally universal idea that is accepted by all the different sects of Christianity and must influence the secondary beliefs in the religion. For example the Holy Trinity is accepted by Roman Catholics, Protestants, Baptist, and etc. However what separates the different sects in the religion apart from one another are their secondary beliefs. A secondary belief is a belief that is accepted by many of the sects however the belief maybe slightly altered. Also another characteristic that must be true is that in order for it to be considered a secondary belief it must have a correlation to the primary belief. An example of this is the sacraments because the sacraments are believed in throughout Christianity but the number of sacraments in each denomination varies. The sacraments do play a specific role in the religion when dealing with the Trinity particularly concerning with the Eucharist. Because of these two credenda’s it is evident to see what an instrumental role these beliefs have in defining Christianity.
This was for a women to take on the role of a Nun and it seems this involved a smaller amount of women due to the smaller amount of monastaries founded in the period between 1200 and 1400. The role of the Nun involved living a life of contemplation, prayer and work and was based upon the suffering Jesus was inflicted with when on the Cross.

When you enter the Catholic Church there are a variety of vocations to choose from. These vocations are nun, priest, single life, bishop, deacon, and married life. For this project, I decided to interview Sister Mary. Sister Mary works for the Holy Rosary Parish in Evansville, Indiana. During my interview with Sister Mary I wanted to know about what she does and how did she know she wanted to be a nun.
