China's Tight Control Over Tibet

What most people do not know is that Tibet is not plagued by disease, war or famine. Rather, Tibet is consumed by China's authoritative polices and strict no religion rules. China looms over Tibet with their iron fist, punishing anyone who crosses China's word. Basically, China manages to find ways to attack Tibet directly and indirectly with communism by making sure to pass unjust laws and policies that are sure to affect those that China does not favor. According to "China Sentences Two Monks for Offering Prayers for Tibetan Self-Immolator." , China forbids Tibet to practice their religion. This means that any religion, even the peaceful ones such as Buddhism, are punishable if practiced in Tibet. Even supporting a religion would not be allowed in Tibet. Not only is religion forbidden, but protesting is also a very heavily punishable offense. It does not matter if it is an innocent or peaceful protest. As long as it is a protest and is against what China thinks, it is punishable. The article,"China: Address Causes of Tibet Self-Immolations.", explains how China arrests or beats innocent Tibetans on a daily basis. Basically, nobody is safe in Tibet. China can do whatever they want to whoever they want at anytime and anywhere. To be clear, we should care about Tibet because Tibetans are restricted from practicing their religion, are getting their rights abused and innocent Tibetans are being arrested or killed.

Innumerable amounts of innocent Tibetans are being killed or arrested on a daily basis, but still people turn a blind eye and say that it is not their problem. However, that simply is not true. Tibet and its troubles are a growing problem that threatens those who fight for freedom and those who fight for equal rights. Everyone should pitch in and make an effort to help fight communism and the injustices against Tibet by supporting Tibet's culture and religion. Just because Tibet's problems are not happening on the doorstep of everyone's home does not make it any less of a problem. Tibet's suffering is real and everyone should be scrambling to try and contain communism from getting worse or spreading any further. To be clear, people should help Tibet or they could end up like Tibet in the future and severely regret it.
