Although a child’s understanding of the life cycle is lacking due to their mental and emotional development, children create notions and ideas concerning death through early exposure to media such as Disney and Pixar movies. There are visual and audio cues that help a child understand when death is happening within a movie. When a child sees or hears these cues it allows their brain to process and create notions and ideas of what death means to them. As a young child is learning to speak and even before then they rely heavily on body language and facial expressions.
