Introduction
Some families in Afghanistan need water more than anything so they have to send their own kids early in the morning in the cold to get water but they can't because they are too weak . The video “The Plight of Afghanistan’s Child Water Carriers” by Zarif Nazar and the text “The Plight of Afghanistan’s Child Water Carriers” by Sayead Jan Sabwoon both discuss an issue surrounding children who live in Afghanistan. These Children cannot go to school because they have to help their families survive and get water that the family needs.

A similarity is the setting . In the text the author describes the climate and setting with pictures and mob . In the video the maker show pictures of the setting and even talks to some kids in the setting . This shows that both the text and the video support their opinion by using the setting. Another detail they both use is problem and solution . The video and the article both use the problem of not getting enough water and the solution to the problem supported by both mediums is that families send their children to go get water and miss school. The last detail is that both mediums use children's perspective to support their point . The text interviews a kid name mirwais . The video interviews three kids and even one of them is Mirwais
