A significant part of development is the middle childhood. The middle childhood is largely centered on the development of a child’s inter-personal relationships, cognitive skills, personality and motivation. Children learn about their environment around the middle childhood. Integration is a task concerned with the primary developmental of child in the middle childhood. Physical development which happens during the middle childhood is not as dramatic as in early or late childhood. Growth might be usually slow ti late childhood life. Kids at this period usually relay on skills which they acquired in early childhood and these skills prepare them for the next stage of their cognitive development, the middle childhood. Skills like the hands-on learning are required at this period. Middle childhood is a time for a child to can gain interest for learning and work, achievement tends to be a motivating factor because, this is when children work toward developing their competence, interpersonal relationships and self-esteem. Even with their peer orientation, their family still have a strong influence on these children. The social skills learned through people closest to them (friends and family members) help in increasing their abilities to participate in meaningful interpersonal communication, and this creates a solid beginning, that would enable these children tact challenges of late childhood. Making friends is a significant part of this age. Skills acquired in these relationships does form the building blocks for healthier relationships in their later life. The successful children are those who can cope better with frustrations and challenges, and this help they achieve a better and stronger self-esteem. Every child is special, children respond to different environments in different ways. Some children can be emotionally (innate) some conditions. A Strong child undergo negative and harmful experiences, without allowing these experiences damage their self-esteem or emotional development. These tough children experience the type of bullying amongst their peer group and do not give in to this experience or allow it have any has negatively effect on them.
