Jehovah witnesses have membership of 83 million. The governing body of the Jehovah witnesses is a group in Warwick, NY of elders. This group establishes doctrines from their interpretations of the bible. I was founded by Charles Taze Russell in the 1870’s.
Jehovah witnesses use the name Jehovah as God’s name necessary to serve him. They do not celebrate holidays and birthdays. They do not worship religoues statues or believe in wearing crosses. They do not salute the flag.’
Russell was in a bible group in Pittsburgh. Pennsylvania, but Russel had problems with the beliefs of some of Christianity. He didn’t believe in beliefs like the Holy Trinity, hellfire, and the immortality of the soul. Russel together with Barlow started a religious journal
