GOAL
I encountered charity work a portion in my life, and been raised to look up to people who do such a thing, most people have been bread to help people in distress, people in need, who are under them in any type of social status. Some people would use charity to gain for themselves other than the actual people who need it, those people are either deranged or need the money so bad they would do any thing to capture it, but people need to understand that most of the money people give to charities doesn’t even go to the poor, big charity foundations need to keep there advertisement and foundations running, so they take a part of that income to use them for there sources, I don’t say that is a problem, but if charities don’t give money to the poor, is it really a charity? I am trying to find a way for people to get there money to the poor with a trust worthy middle man, I am not saying that other foundations cannot be trusted, it is the problem that people can’t simply trust giving there money to a semi-trustworthy of charity, who would and be the middle man with a middle man.
Another reason why I’m doing this project is because people want to provide support for specific types of people, or who simply want to start there own charity with there own causes and goals, for people who want to simply provide for people with specific sicknesses, for example AIDS/HIV or Lung cancer, or maybe who live in specific areas who need support, like Sierra Leone or New Guinea, because these are the places where there is a lot of poverty, people can barely get a bite of food without doing something drastic, some work in diamond mines, where they get very little money, where the diamond that they just mined was worth one million dollars, they are v...

...certain field or if you are going to donate to multiple fields, when you decide that decide what field or fields you are going to donate to, then make a goal of how much you need to fund.
The second step to make a charity is raising money to start one, you can either fund it yourself or find a person to fund it for you, and there is no income in charity, so make it clear that there will be no gaining money.
Third step is to make an attractive name for your audience, you have to make a name that suits your donations and what attracts people, you need to market your property and advertise it, to attract people and raise awareness to what your charity will provide for donation.
The fourth and last step is to make fundraisers, make websites, and make offices to know that you are a legitimate charity for donation, because people wont trust a non-legitimate charity.

Being identified as a nonprofit, doesn’t necessarily mean it will be a charitable organization. The word ‘philanthropic’ is such a broad term. It cannot be defined in simple terms because it is a complicated interrelationship of many components. Those components include hope, humanity, compassion, faith, and an intense truth, especially of the human spirit. It can be said that philanthropy is a methodical plan of sincere intentions on making the world a better place for the better good.
When deciding on which non-profit organization to give resources to, a person must think of a number of questions that need to be answered in which to choose a certain one. The most pertinent of these questions is the one that asks which cause the person cares about the most. The problem, for a majority of the population, is that they just do not know what they truly care about. That is why the United Way is the best option for donations. The United way does not focus on one specific, but instead works for a variety of different causes focused on fixing some of the different problems inside of the United States. The United Way is an organization, which envisions a world where all individuals and families achieve their human potential through education, income stability and healthy lives. It plans to do this by improving lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good. The United Way needs money and time in order to achieve some of these goals. This essay will explain why the United Way is the best organization to give ones resources to.

Most people feel that they should help the needy in some way or another. The problem is how to help them. This problem generally arises when there is a person sitting on the side of the road in battered clothes with a cardboard sign asking for some form of help, almost always in the form of money. Yet something makes the giver uneasy. What will they do with this money? Do they need this money? Will it really help them? The truth of the matter is, it won't. However, there are things that can be done to help the needy. Giving money to a reliable foundation will help the helpless, something that transferring money from a pocket to a man's tin can will never do.

Most nonprofit volunteer groups can be described as holistic and geared toward supporting those that are disadvantaged. The volunteer seeks to meet a need and/or be a role model. Grant writing is usually required to secure money in nonprofit organizations for an organizing campaign. A possible solution would be fundraising. This would limit the dependency on grant funders and foundations.

The Charity Organization Society was based in the scientific movement of organizations. Workers believed that charity work needed more definition and organization and that charity should be focused more on individual need rather than as a whole population. Focusing on individual need was intended to improve relief operations while making resources more efficient. They also intended to eliminate public outdoor relief. With the promotion of more organization and efficiency the new Charity Organization Societies were born. Trattner states that these new requirements for organization and efficiency spread so “rapidly that within 6 years 25 cities had such organizations and by the turn of the century there were some 138 of them in existence” (Trattner, 1999).
Philanthropy, or the act of private and voluntary giving, has been a familiar term since it first entered the English language in the seventeenth century. Translated from the Latin term “philanthropia” or “love of mankind,” philanthropy permeates many social spheres and serves several social purposes including charity, humanitarianism, religious morality and even manipulation for social control.
